I woke up to the sun's rays hitting my face, forcing my eyes open. For a moment, everything felt normal until I stretched and realized something was off. This wasn't my room. My surroundings were unfamiliar, and then it hit me-I was in Ahaan's flat. The events of last night flashed through my mind, and my cheeks turned an alarming shade of red. I couldn't believe how bold I had been. But as I sat there now, clutching the blanket, I felt like a timid little kitten compared to the daring lioness I'd apparently been last night.
I glanced at the other side of the bed, expecting to see Ahaan, but it was empty. A sudden pang of nervousness hit me. Where was he? Shaking my thoughts, I got out of bed, stretched again to ease my tension, and instinctively started making the bed. Once done, I caught sight of myself in the mirror and cringed. My hair looked like a bird had built a nest in it. Sighing, I tied it up into a messy bun and headed toward the door.
